We've been fascinated by the concern for fire safety in Ireland, especially in Northern Ireland. The UK in general does have a long history of devastating fires, and the narrow lanes can cause problems getting fire equipment and personnel close to conflagrations.
Just take a look at the ground on the electrical plugs here:
There are fire extinguishers
everywhere:
And there are heavy fire doors
everywhere:
There are various warning signs all over the place, too:
They don't have many plain ol' Exit signs or Emergency Exit signs, they have
Fire Exit signs:
But there are other dangers here, too. Apparently arrows will occasionally go crazy and kill you dead:
