On the road to Derry

On Wednesday, July 31, we had coffee with our Dear Niece #1, and then hit the road to Derry via (mostly) the A6.

We drove for seven miles on the Seven Mile Straight--it was straight, but hilly:

This is a very nice center, with exhibits on Seamus Heaney's life and inspirations, plus a sensory garden and an area to create your own poetry.

We had dinner with our Dear Niece #2 and Dear Friend in a private home in Derry. Here is a view of the lovely garden:
